We are committed to continually reviewing and improving our production methods to minimise waste, maximise recycling and reduce our carbon footprint. Our environmental policy is monitored and reviewed on an annual basis with an external consultancy. We seek to achieve good environmental practices and operate in a manner deemed to help enhance the sustainability of natural resources.
We are committed to reducing our environmental impact and improving our efficiency through our business strategy and operating methods. It is our priority to encourage customers, suppliers and associates to do the same. This makes sound commercial sense, and also helps to deliver on the duty of care towards our future generations. We wholly support and comply with or exceed the requirements of current environmental legislation and codes of practice. We continually endeavour to minimise our paper waste and currently recycle up to 95% of our pre- and post-print waste, through our paper merchants who subsequently supply our recycled papers
We exclusively buy paper from recognised UK paper merchants, sourced from well managed, sustainable forests; we can offer a wide range of environmentally approved FSC, PEFC or recycled products. We aim to minimise energy and water usage in our buildings and processes in order to conserve supplies, and minimise our consumption of natural resources. We apply the principle of continuous improvement with respect to air, water, noise and light pollution from our premises, reducing any impacts from our operations on the environment. We purchase, as far as is possible, products and services that do the least damage to the environment and encourage others to do the same.
